The airport of Mzuzu is located at the edge of the town. Mzuzu is the largest town in the northern region of Malawi and has grown rapidly in the recent years. Mzuzu has interesting bustling market as well as supermarkets, banks and a post office.  Mzuzu is located in the centre of an agricultural region that specialises in tea, coffee and Rubber cultivation. The Viphya Forest is located south of the city.
